Techniques practised:
* Half guard transition to the back control
* Sweep from the half guard
* Side control (grab pants and behind the skull and your butt is in a similar pose to spiderman control)
Now, coming back to some of my thoughts about my rolling time. I am pretty calm till the point I start getting a submission on somebody at that point I am getting overly excited and don't think about technique too much and just try to overpower my opponent. This is not a good bjj. I need to be super calm and if the submission doesn't work then fuck it either transition to the next one or wait a little bit to see if training partner relaxes so that I can attempt getting it again.
Notes:
* During the rolling time I failed to get both Ezekiel and Rear naked chokes. Tomorrow I want to focus on getting these submissions. Especially Ezekiel choke

2019_04_29 Tristan Connely Seminar
There was a lot really to pick from this seminar. And most of these techniques I am not ready to use at this level, however, there were a couple that I totally want to incorporate into my game.
1. Getting into single leg X-guard sweep. So I already know how to execute X-guard sweep but I was not quite sure how to set it up. Here is one way. Sit on your butt, drag the guy's arm, lift the guy's leg on the side of the arm you are dragging, get into X-guard sweep
2. Easiest guard pass. This guard pass is ridiculous in its simplicity. You simply step over the guy's guard, somehow magically this shit works, even on a higher level.
3. Plan B Sweep when X-guard doesn't work. Let's say I got X-guard but then the dude pushes away my right leg. Well, this is what I would do. I would get the pushed leg in under his groin and put it on his opposite leg then I would slide down my left leg down his opposite leg and lift. Boom the dude is on the ground.
